About Me:
Hi, I'm Nicole — a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota and North Carolina, and a human who’s passionate about helping other humans heal and grow.
Since becoming independently licensed in 2017 (and working in the mental health field for over 20 years), I’ve supported clients through trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, life transitions, women’s issues, and relationship challenges. I’m especially drawn to working with those healing from painful pasts—whether that’s difficult childhoods, toxic relationships, or betrayal.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in family systems theories and enriched by tools from ACT, DBT, EMDR (EMDRIA approved trained), ego state therapy, and parts work. I aim to create a safe, down-to-earth space where clients can engage meaningfully in their healing—whether they feel ready or are just willing to try.
I bring experience from diverse settings in community mental health, school-linked services, co-occurring treatment centers, and outpatient clinics which gives me a broad, real-world perspective. Ultimately, therapy with me isn’t about perfection, but about progress, connection, and finding tangible ways forward.
